Community Acupuncture
Second Friday of each month ~ 10 am - 1 pm and 3 - 6 pm
Next date:  To Be Scheduled
$20 per person
Community acupuncture is performed in our wellness studio.  You rest in chairs or on tables instead of being in a private room one on one with the acupuncturist.  Benefits include reduced treatment fees, the ability to get treated at the same time as friends and family, and the power of group healing.  Our goal is to provide quality acupuncture treatments at an affordable price.

Benefits of Acupuncture
The World Health Organization recognizes acupuncture and traditional Oriental medicine's ability to treat over 43 common disorders including, but not limited to:

  • Gastrointestinal Disorders
  • Urogenital Disorders
  • Gynecological Disorders
  • Respiratory Disorders
  • Disorders of the blood, muscles, joints and nervous system
  • Circulatory Disorders
  • Emotional and Psychological Disorders
  • Addictions
  • Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Disorders
  • Supportive therapy for other chronic and painful, dibilitating disorders

Treatments for acupuncture are encouraged to be a series of 8 - 10 sessions.  It is recommended that you be seen either one time per week or once every other week.

If using as a tune-up for the body, one treatment per month is a great way to keep your body aligned with energy balancing and replenishment.

Acupuncture Fees:
30 minute session     $45
60 minute session     $75
90 minute session     $90

A typical session can include any or all of the following modalities:  Auricular Therapy (ear acupuncture), electro-puncture, Colorpuncture, Pure Essential Oils, and Sound and Vibration Therapy.

Acupuncture
Many conditions may be alleviated very rapidly by acupuncture and Oriental medicine.  However, some conditions that arise over a course of years will be relieved only with slow, steady progress.  As in any form of healing, the patient's attitude, diet, determination and lifestyle will affect the outcome of a course of treatment.  Patients are encouraged to actively participate in their healing process during their treatment.  Acupuncture needles are very fine and flexible, about the diameter of a human hair.  In most cases, insertion is performed without discomfort.  We ensure acupuncture needles are sterile and are either disposable or autoclaved between treatments to ensure the highest level of hygiene.

Colorpuncture
A therapy of treatment using a combination of an acu-pen light with a colored crystal rod inserted and placed on specific parts of the body over acupuncture points.  This works on a psycho-spiritual and psycho-emotional level which is very relaxing and energy balancing.

Sound & Vibrational Therapy (acutonics)
The use of tuning forks - these are used over specific acupuncture points.  The use of high frequency forks used over the etheric field, with chimes and singing bowls is quite a relaxing experience!

Gua Sha
A muscle scraping method that is quite relaxing.  It is used to assist the body to release blockages that the body is holding as it helps to bring it to the surface and out.

Electro Acupuncture
Similar to a tens unit, very powerful for trauma due to injuries and used in pain management.

Auricular Therapy
Ear puncture - as every part of your body is located in the ear (similar to Reflexology).  Little filaments or ear seeds are used.

Facial Colorpuncture
Just as the foot is to reflexology, so is the face to the body - all your organs are read on the face as well.  This gives a splash of color frequency on the face using the crystal light pen.  Very relaxing and invigorating.  This is much like a lift to the face.
